To hot to work!

Today it will be hot!

This week it was heaven for me, sunny days a little wind, I would like the weather to be like that for ever, difficult to keep working though. so much temptations to go in the garden and other stuff.
I have been able to buy myself (Very cheap ) some nice fabrics and I am into trouser and skirt making for my little bears now.
all this crafting things in my living room make it hard for me to keep illustrating. my head is filled with other things.

But now! It is still morning and already the temperature is rising and no wind at all.
Pffff!
I am going to work for about 2 hours and then I am going to relax and try to do as little as possible.
The problem we have is that our hedges are new and still very small, and the part of garden where we can sit under the nut tree is next to the street, and I don't like sitting in the street where everybody can see me.

So I was thinking about this and came up with an idea!
I am going to make a (kind of) windscreen, from nice fresh cotton fabric.
I will stitch tunnels in it where I can put my tonkin sticks in and that will make a lovely fence behind our table or chairs, whatever. And it will create somekind of privacy.
I will post pictures later to show you.
I hope this works and I hope it will not be too hot, to sit behind my sewing machine.

Let the sun shine, hoora for my tomatoos, basil and courgettes.
I am giving them extra water at this moment:)

All your crafting materials look sooo tempting, it's a pity we have to work all the time...

Ik heb hier net mijn hond een knipbeurt gegeven, de sukkelaar weet ook niet waar kruipen om af te koelen. Ik kijk uit naar de volgende foto's
