old suitcase

I found this old suitcase in a charity shop and would love to line it with a pretty paper, but maybe I should make a nest for my cat.
the small friend here, is a felt cat doll I made a while ago.

no blogging lately

I have to apologise for not blogging lately. I don't know why but I don't seem to have any inspiration. I am tired lately and not in the mood to do anything. My work is progressing slowly slowly. Everything is too much. I'm in need of a good vacation and want to sleep!
The weather is so ugly in Belgium, maybe that has something to do with it.
Also the last exams (from the children) are almost there and that brings a lot of tension.
It's like a shy girl, who doesn't know what to say.
So, maybe tomorrow I will be taking pictures. I will post another pic. of Vroefke, Of her I have loads of photo's.

time to sleep

Vroefke brought a dead mouse in, again, she (the mouse) is lying at my feet. Hooo, I hate this. The cat really thinks she makes me happy. She is looking so proud at me. I will bring the mouse outside and then go to bed. Vroefke does this almost every day, grrrrr! Poor mouse :-(

border, week by week

First flowers are showing, but the first year it will be a skinny border. Or how would you call this in English. Still I have a lot of satisfaction seeing the plants grow. I planted Nepeta (Kattenkruid)
and my cat tends to ruin this plant, she eats it,lies in it, sucks it...How do i stop her?
