The grass is always greener ;) at home!And so is the bear!

The grass is growing at a speed!!
My husband complains.
Where do I leave all this grass???
But I am very happy with this green cusion :)

And our Milan (Dog) really understand that he can not walk on the new grass, he is so smart!!

A big change

We have been working hard and have been very tired but we are also very pleased with the result!
This will be the clean base for a real garden!
We will leave it like this for this summer s that I can give myself the opportunity to work out some more ideas!
I am really already pleased!
I am glad I took pictures because I will soon forget all about our junkyard!

spring is in the air! And in the garden, but my garden is a junkyard. :(

First a springly picture and then the ugly ones!
I am not posting this to chase you all away, but just for myself in hope there will be improvement in a couple of weeks!
We almost live here for a year now and it really is time to start working in the garden!
Still all the work has to be done and a lot off work before we can even start!
We have to take out the old hedge before planting a new one etc. etc...

At this moment I feel like I am living in the middle of the street!
Everybody can see right in the house and before we lived all hidden away!

I want this "tucked in feeling" again!!!
HELP!!
Sinds the hedge is gone I don't sleep as good as I used to, could that be?
I have never lived so open in my life!

hide the mess with a curtain

Hi,
I am pleased with myself because I had an idea last week for hiding the mess behind a  peace of fabric.
We have a few animals that live with us and their stuf is not always so decorative and takes a lot of place, this was bothering me .
So When looking in my drawers  I found a piece of fabric that I loved and I was not using it.
Perfect for a curtain.
And I love the result,
We live here  for 6 months now and there is still a lot to do, but not all at once.
I am pleased with the small change and next week something else.
I long for the sun, that will give me more energy to work in the house.
I will post a few pictures from the same room before we lived here.
We have worked already a lot!!

NO, no more snow!!

NO, no more snow!!I do not want it. This morning when we woke everything was covered again!!Just when we started to think that spring was in the air, I am not in the mood for it. This is the thirt time it starts all over again.
And nobody was expecting it!
We had a 1000 km traffic jam in Belgium. I guess that would be 750 miles +_??
That is 3 times the lenght of our country!!
It had never happened before.

And I long to start working in the garden!
We still have to design it!
Maybe we should concentrate on that!
So sorry for the bad spelling!

To many worries.
But they delivered new wood this morning ( while it was raining! OF COURSE!!!!)
I think everything will turn out well in the end!

It' s snowing again today

We finally disieded to move by the end of april.
When I think of it I can cry, there is so much work that needs to be done before we move, you can not believe how much stuff we have, and the house we move in is half the size of the one we live in at the moment, and then all the restauration work of the other one and.........
