He has a ribbon and a bell and he has a well loved look.
His feet and paws are made of soft velvet.
Gregory is looking for a home to live in and be loved!
He is a strong bear, made of quality materials, he is fully jointed with 5 cotterpins.
Gregory is vintage looking.

Sailor
I have been amusing myself yesterday making a sailor outfit for the bears.
I am not sure if I should tea dye them or not, to give them a more antique look.
Anyone suggestions???

New bag and new bear.(reserved)
For a long time I wanted to experiment a little with doodling embroidery.
I finally did it and it was fun to do, I really enjoyed it!
I also discovered a way to draw your drawing on a piece of fabric without trouble.
I hate it to do it with a pencil, it just don't work.
In stead I used water solube felt markers from Caran D'ache.
You just make your drawing, free hand and emroider on the lines, then you wash your fabric (or your finished bag) in a gentle soap and all the markings disappear.
I tried it first on a dish cloth to be sure.
So easy and fun! :)
You can use different colours (I wouldn't use black or very dark colours, just to be sure)

To hot to work!
Today it will be hot!
This week it was heaven for me, sunny days a little wind, I would like the weather to be like that for ever, difficult to keep working though. so much temptations to go in the garden and other stuff.
I have been able to buy myself (Very cheap ) some nice fabrics and I am into trouser and skirt making for my little bears now.
all this crafting things in my living room make it hard for me to keep illustrating. my head is filled with other things.
But now! It is still morning and already the temperature is rising and no wind at all.
Pffff!
I am going to work for about 2 hours and then I am going to relax and try to do as little as possible.
The problem we have is that our hedges are new and still very small, and the part of garden where we can sit under the nut tree is next to the street, and I don't like sitting in the street where everybody can see me.
So I was thinking about this and came up with an idea!
I am going to make a (kind of) windscreen, from nice fresh cotton fabric.
I will stitch tunnels in it where I can put my tonkin sticks in and that will make a lovely fence behind our table or chairs, whatever. And it will create somekind of privacy.
I will post pictures later to show you.
I hope this works and I hope it will not be too hot, to sit behind my sewing machine.
Let the sun shine, hoora for my tomatoos, basil and courgettes.
I am giving them extra water at this moment:)
